My room was really spacious and super comfy. I loved the big king-size pillows and the mattress felt just right. The bathroom was well-appointed with grab bars and a tub mat, which was a nice touch. the controls for the room temperature were easy to use. Not much noise came from the hallway or the next rooms, so that was a relief! Definitely felt like a good place to relax for a bit.

The room was cleaner than a germaphobe's dream come true, complete with a breathtaking view of the pyramids that made every morning feel like stepping onto a postcard. The pool was a delightful oasis, with a swim-up bar that made me feel like I was in a tropical paradise instead of a hotel in Texas.

missingWrote a review on 09 Novgarden viewbreakfast buffetgood varietychlorine smellconfusing layout
The room offered a stunning view of the gardens, which adds a nice touch if you're into some scenery while lounging around. The breakfast buffet had a good variety, making it easy to fuel up before hitting the attractions nearby.
During my stay, the indoor pool had a strong chlorine smell, which might throw off some folks looking to relax. Not to mention, finding the right elevator was a bit of a puzzle, as the layout isn’t all that straightforward unless you’ve got a map in hand. A few areas felt a tad outdated, which isn't a deal-breaker but could use a bit of sprucing up to match the more modern amenities around.

The shrimp and grits at brunch were to die for! 🌟 Everything else was good, but the cold outdoor pool was a bummer. Overall, it was a nice family getaway.

Convenient location with access to various attractions, making it great for families. The pool was a highlight and the staff at check-in were friendly. the wait staff at the dining options could be more attentive, which detracted from the overall experience. I appreciated the clean and comfortable room, which offered a nice space for our family to relax after a day of fun.

missingWrote a review on 22 Septbreathtaking viewfamily-friendly amenitieswelcoming atmosphereunderstaffed servicepoor food qualitycleanliness issues
The location of Moody Gardens Hotel is fantastic, really close to the attractions. The room had a breathtaking view overlooking the pyramids, perfect for relaxing mornings. The amenities were impressive with a heated pool that the kids loved. The festive decorations throughout the hotel made it feel welcoming, especially during the holidays. However, the service could have been better. I had long waits at the bar, and it felt understaffed during peak times. The food at the restaurant wasn’t great for the price, especially the shrimp scampi that was too lemony. The room cleanliness was inconsistent. while some areas were spotless, the bathroom sink was clogged and filled with sludge, which was pretty gross. Overall, the highlights outweighed the downsides, but these areas definitely need improvement.
